Teaching Running at UBC

Teaching Running at UBC

I will have my last running clinic next Wednesday after 13 weeks of instruction. It will be hard to say goodbye to the group, but we will end next week with a post run celebration.

In all my running clinics, I have speakers who come and share their knowledge on running.

This semester we had a shoe talk by Racquets and Runners, a stretching talk by John Moe who made the podium in the Boston Marathon.

Injury prevention and nutrition talks were also covered in the clinic as well.

As well, running tips are covered such as interval training and hill repeats.

UBC is a great place to instruct a clinic, and as well has some great running trails.

I am looking forward to my next clinic in January.
